Privacy Policy

SalesSaver is operated by Refined Digital (Registration Number: 2025/503581/07). We process personal information in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA).

What we collect

We collect account names, email addresses, phone numbers, store names and addresses, product catalogues, sales and stock movements, staff login details created by a store owner, invoices, and support messages. Payment of subscriptions is recorded against the store. We do not store full card numbers in this application.

Why we collect it

• To run the point of sale, inventory, and shrinkage reports you asked for
• To create cashier logins for your store
• To invoice and collect subscription fees
• To detect abuse, keep audit logs, and secure accounts
• To comply with lawful requests

Who we share with

Store owners see their own staff, sales, and stock. Platform administrators at Refined Digital can access store records to support the service. Sales partners see leads and invoices they capture. We do not sell personal information.

Retention and deletion

We keep operational records for as long as the store account is active. You may request complete deletion of an account and associated store data via the Delete account page. We aim to complete verified deletion within 30 days, except where we must keep a limited financial record for tax or dispute purposes.

Security

Access is role-based (cashier, owner, partner, platform owner). Cashiers only reach the till. Passwords are stored with the account record. You must keep cashier PINs and emails private on the shop floor.

Your rights

You may request access, correction, or deletion of personal information, or object to processing, by emailing support@salessaver.io. You may lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator of South Africa.
